Pizza Sliders
sliders with an Italian twist

A friend of mine brought a version of these to a youth group social that we were hosting. They were so good! Everyone LOVED them! It didn't take me long to go online in search of a recipe.
Ingredients
12 count slider buns (I like the ones by Pepperidge Farm)
1/2 lb. sliced pepperoni
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 Tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
Marinara (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Set aside.
Line a baking sheet with foil. Place the bottoms of the buns on the foil.
Place 2-3 slices of pepperoni on each bun. Top with shredded mozzarella and the tops of the buns.
Brush the tops of the buns with the melted butter mixture.
Cover the sliders with a piece of foil. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Ideas
You can use Hawaiian rolls instead of slider buns. If you want the pull apart factor.
Serve with warm marinara for dipping, or spoon a layer of marinara on each bottom bun before adding the pepperoni.
These leftover really well for quick grab and go lunches.
