Fry Seasoning

Years ago, we bought a fry seasoning blend at a local restaurant that Wynn liked. When we were nearing the bottom of the container, I decided to try making my own. I've been making it ever since.

4 Tablespoons salt
1 Tablespoon black pepper
1 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon turmeric

Mix all spices together and pour into a spice container that has a lid with holes for sprinkling.

This is great on good old French fries, but I usually use it on potato wedges.

Thinly slice 3-4 russett potatoes. Places potato slices in a gallon ziploc bag. Pour in a couple Tablespoons of olive oil. Seal and shake.

Dump potatoes onto a large baking sheet lined with heavy duty foil. Sprinkle with seasoning. Stir and season again.

Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Stir and season. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
