Nuggies! These are hands down the best. I don't want to say that they're better than CFA, but has it been said by others, yes, yes it has. LOL


8-10 chicken tenders, cut into bit size pieces
2 1/2 cups flour
4 Tablespoons powdered sugar
4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
peanut oil


Cut the chicken tenders into bite size pieces. Place in a container and cover with buttermilk. Let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat your peanut oil in a large skillet.

In a gallon ziploc bag, add flour, powdered sugar, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Add 12-15 pieces of chicken to your bag mixture. Zip closed and shake it. Use tongs to remove chicken from the flour mixture and shake off any excess.

Add to hot peanut oil, and cook until golden brown. Remove and let rest on a plate with a paper towel. Repeat in batches.


Don't want nuggies, follow the same process and make chicken tenders.

These are absolutely fantastic with Buttermilk Biscuits.
